The brush has a removable head and replacement bristles. The wooden bristles stimulate the scalp and reduce hair breakage. Italian artisans made these wooden bristles brushes and combs which are all natural. Neither animal by products nor synthetic materials are used. Animal and cruelty free product. After extensive study and research the hard white wood of the hornbeam tree of the birch family was chosen for the bristles. They have a strong resistance to breakage and maintain their exceptional smooth qualities. The wood comes from
environmentally responsible managed forests and does not contribute
to the destruction of the world's forests.

TIP: Don't use Antibacterial Soaps. Antibacterial is an additive in many soaps and household cleaners. Approximately seventy five percent of all liquid soaps contain antibacterial ingredients. According to a study from the Columbia University School of Nursing in New York, antibacterial products do little to prevent illness. Using them in your home is overkill and can create resistant super-bugs. It is much better to just wash your hands thoroughly with a good natural soap and warm water.

 Care for your
brush & combs:Use a soft cloth with a solution of mild soap and water. Dry with a soft cloth. Do not allow to soak for long periods of time in water.

The brushes are sustainably harvested from managed
forests and finished naturally with purified linseed
oil and beeswax. No toxic lacquers or finishes of
any sort are used. The bristles are made of wood or
natural boar bristles. Wood bristles are made from
the smooth white wood of the hornbeam tree (from
sustainable, managed forests, of course), chosen for
its break-resistant grain. Ethically obtained wild
boar bristles are hand-set into the boar bristle
brushes. The supreme quality of these handmade
brushes is evident in the clever design and are
designed to last a lifetime. |
